I used this map and traced over the borders.I can't help but snicker whenever I see the name Badajoz.

It is neither. The colour I used for *Maine is the New Zealand colour to show that the country is a former Anglophone colony, to show it isn't French as the "neighborhood" might suggest. In fact *Maine is actually Alba Nuadh (aka New Scotland).
