Map resources

In the process of creating maps in Photoshop I've come across a multitude of resources. Some are vector/PS specific, but most will work with other programs. I'll do a series of posts since there is quite a few of them.

First off: deviantART. Once you wade through the animu copy paste art deviantArt is a good resource of tutorials, brushes, vectors, and most of all inspiration. A bit of searching and you can generally find something useful.

Obsidian Dawn: A vast collection of brushes, images and vectors.

Dafont.com : free font resource

My Fonts : Another font site. Signup is free and you gain access to over 400 free fonts, and countless quality fonts (for a price)

Color Scheme Designer an instant creator of colour pallets that work together.

That will do for a start.

I will second Dafont in particular.

For those of you who know the mystic arts of vectors, this site which I posted t'other week ought to be a good source of historically-styled base maps, many of which I haven't seen anywhere else.
