My suggestion for the next MotM would be something along the lines of:

This is your Life

Make a map or maps of any political entity throughout its history, and depict how it changed over time.

That should be good for a MotM, since people could take advantage of the extended time limit to make several maps.

Also, I know it's only a few days to the deadline, but I'm considering making a quick map for the current round. If I manage it, it'll be the first map I've made for about three months! :p

How much longer will the MotM contest be open for entries? I'm planning to post tomorrow. And for this contest, so I know the format, as I understand it I can post a few maps in a row, with descriptions for each, right? Because of the unique nature of the contest.

Yes you can! And heck, I'm thinking of just extending the deadline to the end of the month at this point, we're already close enough.

Make a map showing the spread/distribution of culture/fashion. For example, which nations drive on the left or right side or, less conventionally, where top hats are preferred to fedoras.

I like these, especially the Atlantis one (since it can be interpreted many different ways).
