Instead of having a clusterfuck of maps that don't include or outright contradict previous ones, why don't you guys have an actual list of people who claimed the next turn to add to the map?

Op's rule, its worked okay up until now through discussion but might be an idea to have claims.

IsraFrance, would you be up for placing your colony elsewhere? If say I reduce Nri in size and you place to the north or south?

Just copy his map and make a new nation around that area.

Wouldn't really make sense since the historical Kingdom of Nri would be in the middle of the colony.

Could make it a much smaller kingdom subordinate to the colonials like so:

I dontb think the Cruaders would have left the Mamluks existing....

Why not? They did OTL. I dont want to get into forming history too much at this point, but I see the Mamluk Sultanate coming out of the collapse of the Ottoman empire, some time after the crusades, with a tense but relatively stable border.

Would there even be a Ottoman Empire?
