Map Continuation X - Map 6 - Morelia/North America

I still think that England's not going to have the entire East Coast, especially the northwest. That stuff north of New Jersey should be former Scots-Norwegian.

And Portugal's Caribbean holdings ought to also be reduced, IMO, to fit with the general scheme established earlier.

And we need some Francophone countries!

OK, latest map:

EDIT: Damn! I'll put on the new western border in a sec.

Here's a quick sketch for a compromise eastern part of the continent. I think New Derbyshire can even be expanded further inland. Note that this also gives a somewhat more substantial and less convergent borders to Castilian *Panama, as established in the last map.

Now for my big one (so far I have only one country of any consequence).

Provisionally named La Republica del Grand Riu, a former French/Occitan colony that has lost a lot of land to New Derbyshire over the years, but which remains an important player in Morelia.

@Odysseus - what exactly would go into central Florida? THis is 1900 we're talking about. There are no tracts of wilderness left.

The Cooperative Republic of Montebeliard, a agricultural state that broke off from Occitanian-France following a collapse of the grain and cotton markets. It's system of government is large based on proto-farming communes and free-cities federated in a parliamentary system. It has little control of it's rocky mountain regions, and western inland native tribes, so if people want to add some states in the utah/nevada region as break-offs, have fun.

Edit: Map kept exceeding the maximum file size, sorry :(

I dont get why Portugal cant have a couple islands, but some-how, in 1900, Occitan has Mexico and Florida as colonies.
