Preliminary Portuguese colonies. Should Portugal just control the whole of Australia?

I don't think Japanese Philippines is realistic, and depending on the colonisation of Borneo, Khmer Borneo may not work either.

I think we should give the Swedish puppet to Mauretana.

Well considering that the two claims I have had have not been able to manifest as colonial powers, there's little else I can do whilst Oceania gets carved up by those with the good fortune to be labelled as such.

Look, I have no colonial powers, just Teutonia and Japan, so I think the Phillipines should be mine.

That's not how it works. It's not about you 'having' a nation or anything, it's about contributing towards this realistic world. Just because you don't have a colonial power, it doesn't mean you have to have a nation that you can make as big as possible. But as long as you can contribute a varied selection of nations, it's all good.
In Map Continuation 3, until I was gifted a colonial nation by someone leaving the project, I didn't have a colonial nation, but I still managed to get a country on every continent.

EDIT: And yes, no Hanover colonies.

Thank you for the explaination. this Japan is vastly different from our Japan. the Logicalist Revolution is still in people's minds, Japan will be called the "Quiet Giant" for its influence over Asia.

It dont seem realistic for an Hannoverian colony. You are in no position to demand anything from Gandavien, he is the Mod over this Game.
