Map Continuation 3 - Name for South America

We need a nmae for the South American continent in MC3. North and South America were believed to be different continents, and southern part was discovered by the Italians. Here's a brief history of how it was discovered:

I was thinking more like Norwegian fishermen spot large islands off the coast of Iceland, the King of Norway finances an explorer to investigate the islands. It is thought that they are just big, icy islands with no real use. A few cities might be set up there, but nothing big.

Later, the Italians [who have established a few trading posts in India, and may have possibly colonised the cape [alternate Boer War, anyone?]] lose their possessions in India [and possibly the cape] to Portugal. They back an explorer who wants to find a quicker route to the Orient by going west, meaning that the Italians can out-trade Portugal.

The explorer lands in Northern Brazil/Guyana and believes the place to be Orient. After a few years, another explorer who refutes these claims finds the area to be a new, undiscovered continent.

The Norwegians hear of this new continent in the west, and sail there, landing on the Eastern coast of OTL USA.

The name proposals are:

-Ippolitia. - After Hippolita, the queen of the Amazons
-Medevia. - After the Medici family, wich may have financed the travels
-Ocidentasia. - as they used to believe that the Americas was actually part of Asia, but reached from the Ocident.
-Mangi or a variant thereof. - as they used to believe that America was actually southern China
-Cathay or a variant thereof. - as they used to believe that America was actually China or somewhere near
-Cipangu or a variant thereof. - as they used to believe that America was actually Japan
-Other.
