Basically, there's Libya, Eritrea, and a colony stretching west from Eritrea and south from Libya.

Since I'm posting, I would like to point out that West Qazaqia has no African colonies.

Ok, I've reduced both the claims:

the Mughal Empire now has the Sultanate of Melinde as his rightful territory, and the Kingdom of Nairobi as his vassal.

In venetian-blue, the Padanian Company of the Congo, Padanian Zanzibar and Mare Esplendente, a colony near the Guineas.

Too big. I said a few trading posts, that is not a few trading posts.

Couldn't you mark Padanian colonies in the Padanian colour I used [yellow]?

Wait, do you mean you wanted Socotra to be Padanian? There's only three shades of yellow on the map, right? Is the brighter one Padania?

Oh, was this Padanian? Sorry, I thought that it was another country.

And, just the coast of Melinde would be acceptable for Mughal? Or just single cities/trading ports properly?

I made a few changes. I removed the Italian interior colony, although it may be reintroduced. I also expanded German Somaliland, since its previous linear borders were sore on the eyes.

Zanzibar and Mombassa, the two central tradeports in East Africa. (they were so near that I just united the border between then - if some european nation wants that coast between them, feel free to take it)
And Melinde goes Padanian, ok? As it was and old kingdom, it could have been conquered by the Venetians early on, mantained as a trading post and, with the neocolonialism, fully colonized.(If not, just ignore it, as Padania isn't that big... well, actually it's bigger than Belgium and Netherlands, and propably as rich as).

Uhnn, this map is going pretty well IMHO, actually. It's a nice ATL colonialism.
