Using your common sense, you could work out that he most probably meant Khanate.
He could have been going for something exotic. It's not that unlikely that kh would be splled xh.
Umm... what's with that shoreline of the that hook peninsula-area?Here's the map so far, with Kamakura's puppet not present due to my concerns over its size [and name].
To explain Persia's strange southern border I have added Portuguese Uman.
Edit: I need to remember to actually attach the maps in future.

No, for two reasons, one being more important than the other.
1. Empire of Hokkaido? EMPIRE?
2. Someone's already claimed that area, at least in part.
I'm not sure what you mean. I know what you mean by "hook peninsula", but I don't understand your problem with its shoreline.
Look at how thick it is. I mean the peninsula which is in Burgundy.

I'd rather you stuck to the original borders you claimed [although you can definitely have the Riau islands], since we generally agreed that East Asia was goign to be uncolonised.

Provided that the Empire is one of those pariah states that everyone else thinks is crazy, I'll allow it, although your insult at Great Britain is making me think otherwise.

I think that the "Xhanate" was a "Shahdom", as there are some places ruled by Shahs (haha, persiwank anyone? /o/). Sapatry would be a more ocidental way of spelling it, IIRC.

Hmm, I liked the idea of the Guangdong area being colonised by Europeans, but the Riau islands do give the north Germans better access to the islands of Indonesia. I can agree to this.

Have you tried hosting it on imageshack and attaching the image to your post?
If neither method works, you could tell me the rough borders of your nation and I could add it to the map, then we can alter the borders when you get a map working.
