I think you need to work on the name for that state, seeing as the German name for the Teutonic Order is the Deutscher Orden- that is, the German Order, and the German Confederation being Balticum might raise some eyebrows

I think Hesse is in your Empire right now so I'll have to pick somthing else, but thanks anyways.

Now, we got to discuss the TL.
It seems that France, England, and Spain - the three primary Western European powers - were weakened this TL.
Burgundy is obvious, it beat up the French in a war and became a colonial trading empire.
England... wasted resources on France too much, thus was weakened?
Spain... less successful dynastic unions?

My second claim shall be the greatly reduced Kingdom of Francia...everyone's free to steal it's southern territory if you'd like it for your claim. And as you can see, while England did not get all of France, it probably got a bit or two of it... And lastly, sorry for not taking Italian Crete off the map; I un-claimed it.

My entry shall be the Hanseatic Confederation, also known to some as Hansa, and their puppet Kingdom of Arhus. Hansa is a state that developed out of the increased need for security in the face of Burgundian expansionism.The members of the, previously soly-economic, Hansiatic League decided to form a loose confederation.Only Arhus declined to join inmediatly, but it did agree to join at a later date. The confederation has a shared common military and foreing policy whilst still retaining a high amount of individual state freedoms. By the turn of the century, however, the calls for greater unity are getting louder.
I still leave southern Germany for the taking, but I felt Burgundy needed a decent rival, and with France out of the picture I thought that an ATL Hanseatic League fitted the bill quite nicely.

Hawkeye, can I alter the borders of Gothia so that it includes the areas of Gotaland and Svealand on this map?
Also, I think we need to discuss wether Greater Carantania is realistically plausible, considering Carantania has existied IOTL since the 900s, well before the PoD date of around 1200.

Oh! Oh oh oh oh. I that it? Is it? Is it? Is that why you're angry? Well, anyways, I think that Carantania could exist. It's not to hard to imagine that the Slovenes rebelled and took over Carinthia, reinstating the old name, and then slowly expanded, becoming a major country...but then, maybe not.
