Alright folks due to an tie between them TheLoneAmigo and Scarecrow are going to have to face off one more time to determine the winner of round VI and thus the 2006 Map Contest.
A quick reminder for everyone to use the Discussion thread to discuss all things about the contest. This thread should only be for the maps and/or questions for the judges by the contestants themselves.
So here is your challenge Scarecrow and TheLoneAmigo:
This map should center on East Asia after the 1920s and concern a broken China. There should be at least twelve Chinese states where two of them are little more than city-states (and neither of them can be Hong Kong; it can be another one if you so choose but HK cannot be one of the two).
Furthermore at least two must be run by communist governments and at least one must be a democratic government (of some sort). Whether these communist governments are allied or opposed is up to you.
If you decide on having colonial powers or foreign occupied territory it must be limited to small stretches of coastal territory and/or coastal cities. (Historical OTL are acceptable if your PoD date is say for example after such territorial acquisitions exist, for example Japan in Manchuria).
You guys have one week from tomorrow (Saturday December 16th, 2006) 6 EST to Saturday December 23rd, 2006) to finish.
Best of luck,
SK
