Map Challenge: No Rome

Your task, should you accept it, is to make a map of Europe in a world without Rome. The map has to be set in the present day!!!!!! If you just say you're stumped, I shall be ! So, go ahead. You have a LTR(Licence To Roam)!!!

With the timeline being so different the date 2013 has no meaning as a marker of anything other than time. Technology could have exploded or stagnated.

Well, let's try a POD in 800 BC.

It is probably going to have several federations of celtic and germanic origin in Northern Europe, personally I think Greece and the surrounding regions would be hellenized (Cyprus, Sicily, Adriatic coast, southern Italy), Iberia has celtiberians and other into-europeans as the dominant culture with a minor non-indo-european culture with more influence and diversity than OTL (more than one language (only Basque IOTL)). The Balkans is a mixed clusterfuck like OTL is my best guess. And Italy has a Greek south and a mixed north (Celts mostly, Oscans, Umbrians, Veneti, Etruscans, Latins, and Greeks mixed in).

Nuclear exchange between the USA and the USSR happens, and a Soviet nuke wipes Rome off the map. Needless to say, the population of Italy and many other countries are very unhappy.
