Map Challenge - Future history

With a POD no later than 1825, do your best to create this world map by 2025. Couple other things: The UN must exist by 2025, there must be a global currency, there must be no loose federations, and the adjoining like-colored nations must be associated with one another (red with dark red, pink with purple, and yellow with dark yellow.) That is all. Have fun!

Easy. History runs exactly up to OTL until 19th May 2007, when a short-sighted individual creates a map with a ridiculous unrealistic number of empires following absurdly convergent and arbitrary borders. This map is then dug up in 2025 and laughed at.
