hey, all. i was just going over American geography while revising the internal borders of the United States of North America for my ASB ATL, and one possibility for revision came to me: what if the borders of the Louisiana Territory stayed in used, and states comprising part of that territory ONLY used that territory, while states outside it only used territory outside it?
what does everyone think the states would look like in such a situation? a couple of possibilities that occurred to me are that Utah could be comprised of only the northern half of the OTL state, Wyoming west of the Louisiana Territory, and the northwest corner of Colorado; consequently, Nevada could have all of its OTL territory as well as land east of it up to the Colorado River (the southwestern half of OTL Utah as well as the Arizona Strip)
