Mangazeya remains opened

Say, for whatever reason, Mangazeya trade route doesn't get probihited by Russian government. English will have the access to Siberian furs remain open to them. As it has been pointed in my previous thread on the similar subject, it will be able to result in English/British rule in the Siberias.

Besides that though, what will be the other long term effects and potentials ? With Siberian furs in English hands, will Hudson's Bay Company still be formed ? If it won't, than who's going to exploit that land's furs. Also, how will this influence the course of history in Eastern Europe and Baltic regions ?

Any Russian government with control over Novgorod and a lick of sense will ban other European powers from exploiting Siberia. Long-term English presence requires a long time without a central government in Russia. Not impossible, but....

I am aware of that. That's why I said "for whatever reason", though specifically that would mean "to weak/distracted to do anything about it"

Not the most likely scenario, I know, but if that actually happens, consequences would be pretty massive I just can't help my curiosity...:D

As to details about how the expansion into Siberias will proceed, here contains a pretty nice explanation about that

Very cool, but the population will probably be teeny (Nunavut) unless they get huge and expand very far south. In which case the population will be small (Alaska). Most of the good places for population centers are pretty far south, and would be much smaller without the state-sponsored East-West Trans-Siberian Railroad. Beginning as a North-South river-based trade network, it would be very unlikely for British settlement (as opposed to influence) to extend into these areas.

One thing to keep in mind - as a trade network, the English colony will have reverse migration from East Asia. There was a Chinese quarter in Astrakhan, IIRC....

Hey, go for it. It's already a part of one of the things-I-call-timelines-but-never-write-down.
