Manchus rode west

What if the Manchus instead of conquering China and ending the Quing Empire tried to subdue Russia or pulling a Ghengis Khan/Tamerlane and reaching Europe in the 17th Century ? Is it even possible at this advanced time ?

Manchu did rode west, they conquer Mongolia and establish Mongol banner.

to move further west, they will have to abandon their homeland and become pure nomadic, a very strange choice since Manchuria quite prosperous and they already conquer Liaodong.

The Mongols basically left the the Russian princes to their own devices provided they supported the khan, although that didn't stop some princes from backing rival claimants. Don't think it would happen after the establishment of the Tsardom of Russia, especially considering even the Manchu's do make it across the Urals, this a united Russia that dealt with most it's threats from mongol successor states anyway.

Manchu were as strong as they were because they did have Cannon and a Musketeer Army (Green Standard Army). They'd sacrifice all that if they moved west.
