21 March 1558: Mary I's only child, Henry, is born.
May 1558: Mary I falls ill.
17 November 1558: Mary I passes away and Philip becomes the sole King Of England and Ireland.
25 November 1558: Revolts begin to appear across England in response to a Spanish king. Philip is advised to marry the sister of the former Mary, Elizabeth.
1 December 1558: Elizabeth accepts Philip's marriage proposal.
This is what I have so far. She decreed that Philip II would reign until her child became old enough to rule. How accurate is my timeline so far, and are there any notable events in this time period that I'm missing? I know that the trade of French and Spanish land was halted thanks to Mary's death, but I've excluded that so far because the letter where that was mentioned is confusing: It states she died in October.
