Magyarization after a successful 1848 Hungarian Revolution

After the Austro-Hungarian Compromise in 1867, the Kingdom of Hungary saw increasing adoption of the Hungarian (Magyar) identity by ethnic minorities, both voluntarily and as a result of policies enacted by the state. If the liberal Hungarian Revolution of 1848 succeeded, with either an independent republic or an arrangement that allows Franz Josef to remain king (maybe he is able to become German Emperor and King of Hungary), how would this earlier home rule impact the process of Magyarization? Some minorities, such as the Slovaks, supported the 1848 revolution, and if it was successful they would be more likely to buy-in to the Hungarian state. Additionally, Magyarization iOTL occurred despite the consistent rule of liberal governments elected from ethnic minority areas; a government after a successful revolution would likely be led by Lajos Kossuth, who was strongly in favor of policies promoting the Magyar language amongst minorities, himself coming from a Slovak background.
