Opening night for the Magic was at home against the Sixers. Everyone knew that the Magic would easily defeat them as the Sixers were a less than stellar team. Immediately after tip off, the Magic started their dominance. Shaq seemed unbeatable as he scored the most points and went on to be game MVP. In the end, the Magic won 114-89. Here are the Magic's stats:

The Magic continued through the fall of 93' and into the winter. By mid December, they were 11-9; second in their division behind the 14-4 Nets. They were the only two in the division with winning records. The team by now was centered around three star players, Shaq, Magic, and Nick Anderson. The three had great chemistry between them, with O'Neal definitely being the best. By now he had earned his stardom in the league, appearing in commercials for the league and other things and has a budding Hip-Hop career on the side. He even was in a movie called Blue Chips where he and Golden State's Penny Hardaway are college basketball players who are coached by a desperate and greedy coach who tries to reclaim the team's former glory.

The Magic's closest wins so far have been 87-85 against rival Nets, and 91-89 against the Pistons. In the Nets game, with fives seconds left in the game, the Nets' Chris Webber fouled Jeff Turner. The score was 84-85 New Jersey. Magic Johnson made all three of his free throws and then helped defend their lead until time ran out.

The Magic have a matchup against the kings of the east, the Chicago Bulls on Christmas. That will be the next update.
