Machinekng's Logo Request Thread

Well, I've had a couple people approach me requesting logos, and I found it to be a fun challenge.

So, I'm going to start taking requests. For now, the plan is going to be 1 "Major" logo and 3 "Minor" logos per month. I may move faster, but I'm hedging my bets.

Major Logos
  • Requires a detailed vector and/or uses embossing effects.
  • Usually takes 4+ hours to make.
Minor Logos
  • Either "bumper sticker" style or a simple symbol.
  • Usually takes ~1 hour.
Request Format
  • Please post/PM at least a paragraph or two of the organization that the logo is supposed to represent.
  • Principal colors, iconography ideas, and reference photos are also appreciated.
Product
  • The requester will receive the logo in a *.png format, of any particular scale. You may request multiple scales of the *.png, but not the *.svg at this juncture.
Conditions & Rules
  • If I cannot find inspiration or feel that I can do the request justice, then I will turn down the project.
  • I won't accept projects that I feel glorify/promote fascism, racism, or other forms of bigotry.
  • I won't accept projects that boil down to something that I or another artist have already done, but a little bit different.
  • Projects may not be used to promote a commercial product.
  • I reserve the right to include non-intrusive watermarks in the corners of logo. These marks may not be edited out when used. You may choose which corner.
  • If I I've completed the queue for the month, and I feel like it, I may choose to take on more outstanding requests. However, don't ask me to move your project up in the queue.
  • I reserve the right to post the final product to this thread and my DA page, as well as any other blog or personal website that I choose to open. I also reserve the right to reuse vectors that I made for the project in other projects. However, I will not use the whole product as part of any other display.
  • Please do not request flags, maps, coats of arms, or heraldry.
  • Please only make one request at a time.

One logo yes? I have a total of four I need done eventually, but I need only one from scratch, The others can just be reworked.

The People's Alliance is a Populist and Regionalist Party known for being in favor of a small national government, but other than a desire for greater Provincial independence, not much is held in common among the various member-parties
  • The Anglash Party is primarily found in the English-Speaking populace of Masechoesets and Witteberg, they are the direct successors to the Blauw Party, whose popularity faded in the 1950s. They are socially and economically Conservative
  • The Zweeds Parti is as the name implies, primarily found in the province of Nieuwzwergen, and are the most centrist of the Alliance, placing utmost importance on “Reasonable Governance”
  • The Vlams Partij is found in Nieuwvlaanderen and is a Libertarian party who mainly just want the government out of private citizen's business and gun safes.
  • The Frysk Partij is found in Nij Fryslan and is centered on free trade, lowered tariffs and less maritime regulations.
  • The Caraïbische Partij is found in the Caribbean islands of Nieuwnederland like Maagdeneilanden and Sint Eustatius, they are socially and fiscally liberal, only in the alliance because they don't like any of the other options.
I would like a logo for The People's Alliance, which would consist of six hands clasping each other in a circle, with the main color of #0080FF

Here is an example of another logo in this series:

Sounds simple. With ~1 new vector and comparing it to the other logo, then I think that this will be a minor logo, unless you want to wait for something more detailed.

I realize this might be a stretch of your guidelines, but I would like to request a minor logo for your March slot.

This is a logo for my ideology Neotraditionalism, an ideology that emphasizes monarchism, distributism, agrarianism, and familialism. This ideology stresses the importance of community and communitarianism as a center ground between radical individualism and collectivism. Thus, there is a strong emphasis on the local, especially when it comes to small businesses and farms, which are passed down from generation to generation. The most basic unit of society is that of the family. Society as a whole is considered a nestling of families, going from the nuclear family to the community to the region to the nation. The monarch and the royal family are considered the ultimate embodiment of this principle, with the reigning king or queen being the national patriarch or matriarch. Overall, you could consider it an American version of High Toryism.

I do want to emphasize, however, that Neotraditionalism is not Alt-right, since it eschews racialism. The ideology draws much of its inspiration from the universalist appeal of Christianity, in that national identity does not derive from ethnos but ethos - that of the family.

I have a working logo here, but its admittedly taken from another logo. For the final logo, I would prefer something that evokes community/family and monarchy, and, if you don't have any scruples about it, I would prefer that you use the same colors. I would also prefer that you do not use black lines, using a minimalistic approach. I'm thinking of something that might later go on a flag.

I would like something resembling the previous logo, but, if you cannot, feel free to design it according to what you think would work best.

Thank you very much.

Would it be possible to make a request through PMs? I have some things upcoming in my timeline that I would like to request logos for, but I don't want to spoil future events in it too much.

No problem. I'll see if I find something that I like with the figure motif. If not, then I'll shoot some other ideas your way.

Sure. We can continue the conversation there.

Continuing on what we talked on DA and then on the PM, I have two ideas in mind for two of the 'small' logos. One for the National Front for Renovation (FNR) and another one for a coalition of pro-democracy parties known as 'Democratic Convergence for the Reform' (CDtR). They were both political formations in my Nationstates country.

I'll give some context. Basically, the country Roden is in a region where it was East Asian countries that industrialised and well, basically, Roden becomes independent from a sort of Latin Raj-like thing in the 40s. Fast-forward into the 60s-70s, a technocratic (think Singapore, Franco's Spain, South Korea under Park) authoritarian regime governs. It's called the 'Front for National Renovation', or Front Nacional tal Renovament' (FNR). Basically the regime and its official party are conservative but anticlerical and bent on economic growth and social modernisation while politically authoritarian and paternalistic albeit not too repressive. It had a key figure in Lucian Melzi, and when he perished, the regime and the FNR collapsed in the span of less than two years time.

The FNR adhered to a belief in a anti-clerical developmentalist technocracy seeking economic development and uplifting from poverty through a quasi-symbiotic relationship with the industrial magnates (and other elements of traditional Catholic corporatism) , simultaneously greatly reducing the key role of religion in society while still uphelding social conservative values as a part of an idea of ensuring economic and social change while traditional social and power structures. The movement was also divided between techno-liberals or reformists and the so-called 'foncionaris', hardliners. The former believed that democracy could only be implemented when a medium-to-high average income level had been obtained, whereas the latter believed bureaucratic governance together with the corporations could guarantee better outcomes than any democratic process and hence they were opposed to it.

I don't really have any paticular ideas as to how its logo should look, honestly. So I guess you'd have an entirely free hand.

As for the other one, the Convergença democratica ta la Reforma (CDtR), it was a broad alliance of anti-FNR parties that appeared in 1987 and would govern the country during the constituent phase (1988-1990) after which it unravelled. The CDtR was really broad, formed by social democratic, liberal and Christian democratic parties, as well as a techno-liberals that already figured out how the wind was blowing. For its logo I was thinking of something that manages to convey an idea of the plurality of the alliance, as well as its defence of a democratic political system.

Gotcha. I put one for this month, and one for next month.

As a note, this is an exception to the "one request at a time" rule that I'm making since you were going to ask before I made the rule.

This looks interesting. I would like to request a logo of a socially libertarian party that holds some power in a western nation going through a biotech revolution, of which the libertarian party is one of the driving forces. Due to the controversial nature of the new technology, the libertarians attempts to defend the industry from "over-regulation" has taken on just as much of a social aspect as an economic one, leading to an element of outright anti-traditionalism within the party, with morphological freedom and body autonomy becoming key parts of their platform. The logo deliberately avoids any traditional religious or national symbols, has a rather sleek modern minimalist look and incorporates a double helix as part of the logo. I am not sure about any other details or the exact name of the party, so I will leave it up to you. Just PM me or reply here if you have questions or if the request cannot be completed for whatever reason (although I will be hard to reach for the next few days due to uni).

Thank you for doing this.

I'm making materials for a sort of homage to Libertarian science fiction, but one logo is beyond my abilities to make. I'd like to request a logo for the "Witherer Party", a future American political party that is Communist, but with a strong emphasis on quickly causing the state to wither away, hence the name. The logo would be something like the democratic socialist/social democratic rose with a long stem superimposed over a sickle, taking the place of the hammer in the traditional hammer-and-sickle logo. This would both harken back to their more moderate roots and also symbolize "cutting the vine of government".

I need to ask if you want major or minor. Either way, it'll likely be April or later.

Ah, sorry. Minor, not looking for anything super elaborate. Don't worry, I can wait.

May I make some requests?

I've been batting around a fictional East Asian nation called Xiaolu's political system, and I have ideas for the current political parties. They are:

Moderate Party (温和党): A centre-right and neoliberal party formed in 2015 as a merger of the right-leaning parties in government. Their main colour is orange.
Progressive Party (进步党): A social liberal and moderate-left party that lost office in 2013; it is the oldest and most established party at this point. Their main colour is cyan or light blue.
The Left (左派團體): The third wheel of Xiaolu's party system, a left-wing party formed by lefty breakoffs from the Progressives and moderate elements of the old Communist Party; they receive as much support as a protest party as for their actual policies. Their main colour is pink or lighter red.

I think I'd like these to be minor. They can be quite simple.
I don't really have any ideas on what the logos should look like, but including the party colours and their Chinese names is a good idea.

Pick one, and you make a request for another when the first one is done.

Hi there.

Could I have a Native American proudly standing with an axe in his right hand?

It's supposed to represent a "True Nativist" organization in USA and its remnants - that is, a Native American nationalist party that fights against "foreign influence".
