Louis the Hungarian died 10 years later

I will try writing a new TL.
It starts in 1382, in the Eastern Europe, in Hungary and Poland (when in OTL Louis died).
Poland will be affected in 1382; Lithuania, Moscow Principality and Italy will be affected in 1383, and more regions will be affected soon... I'm afraid, the TL will be more fantastic than scientific.
I do not know the history of the Western Europe of the period very well, so I will be thankful for any help with events, that should be affected by changes - and should affect events further.

And one of my goals is improving my English, so any help is appreciated.

Let's start :)

1382, July, Poland

Louis the Great called all polish starosts [1] and proclaimed, that his daughter Mary (11 years old) and Sigismund of Luxembourg (14 years old) will marry next year. Louis ordered to starosts to recognize Sigismund as “dominus regni poloniae” [2].

1382, September, Poland

Sigismund of Luxembourg, Domarat z Pierzchna (general starosta or the head of Greater Poland), and Sędziwój Pałuka z Szubina with Hungarian army captured city Koźmin and castles Nabyszyce and Koźminiec of rebelled nobles, and started the siege of castle Odolanów, the residence of Bartosz Wezenborg, one of the main rebellions against Louis the Great.

1382, October

Poland

Bartosz Wezenborg was captured, brought to Louis the Great and executed. [3] Sigismund went back to Krakow, where he and Mary started to prepare for the wedding.

Lithuania and Teutonic Order

On 31 October, Jogaila, Grand Duke of Lithuania, with his brother Skirgaila and Konrad von Wallenrode, Marshal of the Teutonic Knights signed the Treaty of Dubysa [4]:

  1. In the first act Jogaila promised to baptize himself and convert the Grand Duchy of Lithuania to Christianity within four years.
  2. Samogitia, land that physically separated the Teutonic Knights in Prussia from uniting with its branch in Livonia, was ceded to the Knights up to the Dubysa River by the second act.
  3. The third act formed a sort of four-year military alliance – both sides promised to help each other against their enemies. Jogaila also agreed not to start a war without the Order's approval.

[3] – in OTL, Louis died during the siege, Sigismund made the agreement with Bartosz and went to Hungary.
[4] – the OTL’s Treaty.

If he lasts ten more years, this can affect some of the elements of the ATL succession crisis that would show up by the turn of the century. Including the whole marriage deal between Mary and Sigismund, or Charles II's own effort to get ahold of the throne for the sake of the Neapolitan Anjevin inheritance.

1382/83, Winter

Lithuania and Moscow

Jogaila was afraid of Teutonic – Hungary Union, and wanted to find a new ally. He started negotiations with Dmitry Donskoy, the Prince of Moscow. [1] Andrei of Polotsk returned to Polotsk [2]

____________
[1] – OTL.
[2] – Andrei was older brother of Jogaila and an ally of Moscow. He rebelled against Jogaila, lost his city in 1380, and fled to Moscow. Jogaila returned Polotsk to him in winter 1382/83 in OTL.

1383, Spring

Poland and Lithuania

Sigismund of Luxembourg married Mary, and they were crowned – as king and queen of Poland.

Marriage
Many guests came to the wedding: Wenceslaus, King of the Romans and the brother of Sigismund; William the Courteous, the oldest son of Duke Leopold of Austria, fiancé of Jadwiga, the sister of Mary; Conrad Zöllner von Rothenstein, the Grand Master of the Teutonic Order; Janusz I of Warsaw and many others.
Jogaila also came to the wedding. He had many goals. Jogaila signed the Treaty with Janusz I of Warsaw [1], signed agreements with Louis and Sigismund, and – it was the main goal – Jogaila was baptized by Wenceslaus, King of the Romans. Jogaila made the first act of the Treaty of Dubysa, but it was a prestige baptization, by the most power man in Europe.

Moscow and the Golden Horde

Khan Tokhtamysh got to know about the negotiations between Moscow and Lithuania. He was angry and ordered to send the son of Dmitry to the Horde. On 23 April Vasiliy, the oldest son, was sent to Tokhtamysh. [2]

Hungary and Naples

A large Hungarian army was sent to Naples to help Charles III of Naples. [3]

Charles III
A French army became less after death of Amadeus VI of Savoy, and Charles attacked Louis I of Anjou. Charles was defeated and captured. [4] Lois I entered in Naples and imprisoned wife and son of Charles.

____________
[1] – Janusz I took advantage of a civil war in Lithuania in 1382 to capture the towns of Podlachia and Drohiczyn, claiming them as a part of the dowry of his wife Danutė (a daughter of Kęstutis), with he had married around 1371/73. In OTL Jogaila recovered this lands, but in TTL he was not be able to attack the ally of Poland, Hungary and Teutonic Order.
[2] – OTL.
[3] – a short history of the war: On 11 May 1380 Pope Urban VI declared Joanna I of Naples a heretic and her Kingdom, a papal fief, to be forfeit and bestowed it upon Charles III. In exchange for his help, Joanna adopted Louis I of Anjou as her heir on 29 June 1380. Charles III invaded Naples in November 1380 at the head of an army mainly composed by Hungarians, entered in Naples on 16 July 1381 and captured Joanna on 25 August. Louis I of Anjou went to Avignon at the head of a powerful army on 31 May 1382 in order to rescue Joanna. He passed through Turin and Milan. Towards the beginning of September, he was in Amatrice, near Rome. Charles of Durazzo killed Joanna on 27 July. Louis's expedition counted to some 40,000 troops, including those of Amadeus VI of Savoy, and had the financial support of Antipope Clement VII and Bernabò Visconti of Milan. Charles, who counted on the mercenary companies under John Hawkwood and Bartolomeo d'Alviano, for a total of some 14,000 men, was able to divert the French from Naples to other regions of the kingdom and to harass them with guerrilla tactics. Amadeus fell ill and died in Molise on 1 March 1383, and his troops abandoned the field.
[4] – as far as I know, Charles several times attacked Louis in small battles and was defeated every time. Louis was a very good commander, and only Hawkwood was able to defeat him. But when a large Hungarian army came to Charles, Hawkwood lost his position, and new Hungarian commanders were not so good.

So I'm assuming Louis of Hungary will be invading Naples shortly? Mightn't he claim the throne for himself? He is the senior primogeniture heir of Charles I.

Yes, in the "next" year. He has two daughters and can give Naples to one of them.

1383, Summer

Lithuania and Teutonic Order

Jogaila gave Samogitia to Teutonic Order. [1]
Vytautas did not get any help from Order, he was angry and wanted to revenge.

Moscow and Suzdal

Dionysius, the Archbishop of Suzdal, went to Constantinople. [2]

Naples and Rome

Louis of Anjou attacked Rome, the residence of antipope Urban VI, besieged and took the Castel Sant'Angelo, and captured Urban [3].

Urban is besieged

Citizens asked Pope Clement VII to go to Rome, and Clement promised.

Negotiations between Louis of Anjou, Louis of Hungary and Clement VII lasted: Louis of Hungary asked to free Charles III of Naples and his family; Clement asked do not kill Charles.
____________
[1] – in OTL Jogaila broke the Treaty, but it was a dynastic crisis in Hungary and Poland, and after the breaking Jogaila fought against only Teutonic. In TTL, Hungary and Poland would help Order and Jogaila is afraid of a war. And in OTL Vytautas gave Samogitia to Teutonic Order several years later, so this giving is not a disaster for Lithuania.

[2] – OTL. It was struggle for the Metropolitan title, between Dionysius, who was supported by Suzdal principality and Golden Horde) and Pimen, who was supported by Moscow.

[3] – Gregorovius writes, that citizens of Rome were ready to submit to Louis in 1382-83, but Louis fought against Charles and he did not have time to attack Rome.

1383, Autumn/Fall

Lithuania and Moscow

The Union between Moscow and Lithuania was signed. Jogaila promised to marry Sofia, the daughter of Dmitry Donskoy [1]

Naples

Charles III was executed. Louis of Anjou was afraid of the pretender, and, after all, Charles killed the adopted mother of Louis one year earlier.

____________
[1] – OTL, but in OTL Jojaila did not marry Sofia and the Union was secret.
