Louis, le petite dauphin, lives and inherits the throne

So instead of contracting measles from his wife and dying at 29, what if the grandson of Louis XIV managed to live to a reasonable age and becomes 'Louis XV' instead of his son.

With his 'Burgundy Faction' and interesting ideas of kingship, would it been possible for the monarchy of France to have taken a more liberal turn? Also would a more mature king handle the impending wars and the rise of Britain/prussia better than his son?

Possible that the monarchy becomes less centralised, and more feudal perhaps, could also potentially lead to less blame on the monarch for the disasters that happen
