I did a search for Alexander Hamilton time-lines but everything seems to focus on his duel with Burr or even later (assuming he survives).
It seems to me that most of the really interesting possibilities come much earlier. Has anyone done an early Hamilton-gains-power TL?

Here is some Hamilton fodder:
He used the early post office like his own personal spy network.
He almost got a nobody (Pickney) elected as the US's second president.
He is mostly responsible for the Alien and Sedition Acts.
In 1798 he got congress to approve an expanded Provisional Army of 30,000 which he hoped to lead. He wanted to "put-down" the Virginian Republicans just like the Whisky Rebels were put-down, He also wanted to keep marching south, through Louisiana Territory, to Mexico, to Peru -- He wanted a greatly expanded USA, with himself playing the role as Napoleon.

This guy was really, really scary, but the forums only seem to want to talk about his final duel.
