Rules, subsequent brawls must include at least one participant from the previous brawl, before he has time to sober up.

The world's longest-running bar-broom brawl started in a pub between Heathros Airport and a soccer pitch. It was the World Cup finals. Some-made a derogatory comment about the visiting team. Some-one threw a punch. Some one else threw a punch. A guy shoved his way towards the pub door as he raced to catch the Concorde. He drank a few drinks on the Concorde.
A New York City taxi-driver delivered him to a bar in an Irish neighbourhood of Brooklyn. As he ordered a beer, he made a comment about "Some drunken idiot of a Mick gave me this black eye."
Mayhem ensued.

(Very tongue in cheek, of course0)

1914, Sarajevo - In a fit of thirst, Franz Ferdinand's driver, knowing there are lots of threats against his passenger's life, suggests they stop in for a drink incognito. A drunken Serbian punches him out, knocking him to the floor and kiling him when his head hits something sharp just right.

His guards keep fighting with other drunken Serbians, while the driver gets drunk thinking of the fact his action just killed FF.

he goes back to Austria still drunk and reports to border guards, and others start drinking with Austria's armies invading Serbia in a drunken rampage.

Nocholas II ends up in a drunken stupor because of this, and declares war on Austria before he can sober up. Likewise for the Kaiser declarign war on Russia and France.

In (dishonor) of the way it started, many soldiers march off to WW1 drunk.

Billy Sunday has a field day preaching agaisnt booze back in America.
