Long-term consequences of a Napoleonic victory?

How do you think the world be in the rest of the 19th Century and possibly in the 20th Century, if the first French Empire had obtained victory in the Napoleonic Wars? Either by taking over England or forcing England to recognize the French Empire.

The question is when does that recognition arrive?

Without british gold, there will be no more coalitions.

Which, likely, means that the French empire stops expending at that point.

So, 1802 or 1812 makes a lot of difference to the extend of France.

Anyhow, Germany is unlikely to be ever united as a single country, but will likely be a confederacy of 5 or 6 countries.

The big question is will the french empire be conservative or liberal? I think the answer to this is likely liberal.

Which could have interesting effects when alt-1848 comes along.

More socialism, more liberal society, you would also had more ethnic minorities from Africa in Europe.
With unified Europe better infrastructure connecting countries, and more class debates as industralisation grows. Maybe earlier socialist revolution ?
