So in 1934 the BUF held the Olympia Rally where 12,000 were in attendance. During the rally, Anti-Fascist protestors were beaten badly and brutally ejected from the rally. After the violence, the Daily Mail stopped backing the BUF and the BUF were badly hit, likely never to become a major political force. The party soon after fell out of mainstream politics and turned to heavy anti-semitic rhetoric and looked more like the Nazis.
So my question is: what would happen if the Olympia Rally had little or no violence agaisnt Anti-Fascist protestors? Could the BUF increase in popularity and would they win seats if they contested the 1935 election?
