List of German military aircraft (1910-)

Don't know whether this goes in this section of the forums, in Shared Worlds, or some other part of AH.com.

Anyways, since I've seen a lot of these types of threads, I was wondering if this kind of thread would be acceptable. A thread where everyone can contribute to a list of military aircraft manufactured by Germany from the very first German military aircraft in service to years beyond. We might even be able to see some spacecraft as well!

So anyways, let's get started!

Hope nobody minds me reviving this, since things have been a little hectic this weekend and I need to get my mind off the bad stuff.

Lists are usually pretty dry, unless the content is interesting. The Taube was interesting visually, but statistically very staid. It looked like the inside of a piano, with cloth and an engine. I don't think you could call it a fighter, since it was too stable, and slow.

Well, you are certainly welcome to edit it if you're going to take a shot at this.

Simple lists with specifications don't do much since you can probably google it faster.

What you might want to do is provide either-or lists to stimulate discussion, with the question being what would happen if an alternative design was chosen for accelerated development and operational service, such as:

Bf-109 vs He-112
He-100 vs Fw-190
Ju-88 vs Bf-162
He-117 vs He-117B(alias He-277)
Ju-87 vs He-118
Me-262 vs He-280
He-162 vs Me-262
Fw-187 vs Bf-110
Fw-200 vs Ju-90/290
Bv-141 vs Fw-189

or even some more fanciful options if Germany wished to adopt, re-engineer, and manufacture foreign types (licensed or captured) for Luftwaffe service:

Illyushin Il-2 Sturmovik vs Hs-129
Piaggio P. 108 vs He-177
Savoia-Marchetti SM-79 vs He-111
Mitsubishi Ki-46 vs Ar-240 as recon
Mitsubishi A6M vs Bf-109T (for AC Graf Zeppelin)
B-17/B-24 vs He-177 or FW-200
Mosquito for Me-210/410
Kawanishi H8K vs Bv-222
Douglas DC-2/3 for Ju-52
