Licinius and Constantine

Licinius manages to defeat and kill Constantine. What happens now, especially with regard to Christianity?

Without Constantine as a patron, Christianity's rise to a privileged status in the Roman Empire is far from assured. There might be other future Caesars whom endorse it, then again the Religio Romana might undergo some administrative changes by emperors who really want to capitalize on the common belief system of the empire's majority. Constantine's relationship with Christianity stems from the fact that his mother, Helena, and sister Constantia, were alredy practicing Christians long before he took an interest.
