After the Great War, Paul von Lettow-Vorbeck served in the Reichstag for the DNVP from 1928 until 1930. After Alfred Hugenberg’s takeover, he switched to the more moderate Volkskonservativen Vereinigung. Suppose that Alfred Hugenberg had a fatal heart-attack during his struggle with Kuno von Westarp and let’s say that Kuno decides to pass the leadership of the DNVP to Lettow Vorbeck, then what happens? I can see him having talks with the Stahlhelm and the the Strasserites in order to form a conservative alliance against Hitler's NSDAP, perhaps we even see a Hohenzollern restauration.

Not original...but he's an AH favorite...

he the Strasserites in order to form a conservative alliance against Hitler's NSDAP,

Hard to do, since the Strasserites were socialists...for this he'd have to work with von Schleicher's plan to have the Strasserites, Zentrum and some Social Democrats for form a coalition...

Alternatively, seeing von Lettow-Vorbeck form a bloc with Zentrum or with Stalhelm would be interesting...
