Let's discuss the AH elements in "Fringe"

Rather than puzzle out how this ATL happened, I elected to declare it Never Was Our Universe - in other words, though some similar events have occurred, the parallel universe has no POD. It's simply always been different, but just similar enough to be recognizable (and, coincidentally, a few similar events occurring).

An entirely different universe, complete with different geological events, that ends up having the same people living in it as ours, is even more difficult to accept than all the other hypotheses ventured so far. Rule of Cool and all that, fine, but damned if I aren't going to bitch inwardly about it when I move on to Season 3.

Difficult to accept but if we think of the multiverse, even ones like this must exist with the same people being born but in entirely different historical events. All ideas and events no matter how strange must exist in this theory. So somewhere even the Doctor and Gallifrey exist, SpongeBob, Scooby-Do, any show you can think of, or dream or day dream.

I think we're supposed to infer that the "Observers" have somehow been continually manipulating the history of these two connected-but-separate worldlines for some purpose of theirs yet unknown.

one thing that i find interesting its that its never mentioned if fringe events havent in other parts of the universe or its all just localised to our side and their side earths...

id have imagined that fringe events would happen all over if their universe was falling apart, but it seems to only happen on earth

red are areas that have being "ambered"...a resin based compaund the other side uses to seal up fringe events and breaches...boston is the largest hit area, where most of the city has being covered by it...also they use it without evacuatiog the people (like in madison square garden, where 10000 people where ambered in order to seal a wormhole...their still alive in teh amber, but have ebign declared dead)

Phillipines,
Liberia.

Not sure how they'd be represented in the Senate or HoR or within Cabinet.

I disagree. Just became there's an infinity of even numbers, doesn't mean you're going to find, say, the number 7 anywhere among them.

For beings with precognition, the Observers actually strike me as pretty clumsy. According to a conversation they had in that 1985 flashback, when one of them interfered with Walternate's discovery of the cure for his son's condition, it was unintentional. And in order to "fix" his mistake, instead of just telling Walternate that he had the right formula, he helped Walter conduct the cross-dimensional abduction of Peter.

They polished it? It's the colour of new copper, IIRC, so perhaps they just keep some people employed to keep it shiny.

just notced a kinda gaping plothole...the amchine activates when peters in or, or a sample fo his dna right=?....and after he makes the bridge the observers wipe him out by killing him when walter brings him to our side right?....so....

no it is copper, i guess they just have a better coating that can keep it clean and without rust
