Let the world tremble!

On august 24th 1939 the Soviet Union and Nazi Germany sign thier nonagression pact. but what if the pact included a full military alliance where either county now has to help the other the development of war with any country and full military acces of either country.

how would each side be affect be the pact?

will this make the allied counties less likely to get involved with poland?

will either side soviet union or nazi germany keep to this alternate pact?

what of japan?

and how would america join the war

please reply

You might want to take a look at Onkel Willie's "The Great Mistake" timeline. There, the allies declare war on the Soviet Union for its attack on Finland, forcing Nazi Germany and the USSR into an uneasy alliance. Later, the deaths of Hitler and Stalin prevents what would have been the inevitable stab in the back from one to the other.
