View it by postcount. I missed it the other day when you updated- only caught it this time.

But yeah, I like your other thread too. Would you come back to this one later?

I find it very, very interesting. If Przemysl can be liberated and the Austrians gain some professionalism, AH might stay a valuable ally instead of a sink to the Germans.

I'm always interested in any KuK Timelines. This seems like a very well researched one. I hope Great-grandpa doesn't have to catch the last train from Lemberg to Wien TTL, with the regimental coffers and his revolver, only to find out that the money he returned to the Kriegsministerium was already worthless.

I'm a little confused how the 1911 Encyclopedia Britannica contained information about battles fought in the First World War? Reminds me of Elleander Morning...

It was a special update volume that was meant to bridge the gap until the next edition. Sadly it is probably the best overview source of information in the English language about the war. There really hasn't been anything as comprehensive that I've come across besides the German official history of the war.

In general we care for your timeline.. but again you make a lot but doesn't make an advance for a while.

In general this timeline have a good premise but again like your strong is pretty especific military history than general history that make a little hard to undestand a while.

in fact.. finish Marne Without Moltke First... that have a better premise and the main butterflies only start to apperared.. later you can make a V.2 of this one:cool:

Not quite sure what you mean here; are you suggesting that I don't update enough? I don't have as much time to hone my narrative, which unfortunately means that a somewhat jumbled and weak offering is posted just to keep the action moving forward.

I think that MwM v2 should be my focus for now; I just have a habit of jumping off on tangents as I read more. Got to work on my focus!
My major was Germanic Studies, but my interest is military history, with a recent focus on the early 20th century. My profession has nothing to do with this, which is actually a good thing, otherwise I would cease to enjoy it as much as I do.:D

You misunderstood me(and i wansn't so clear too), ingeneral you seem to keep your timeline deserted for a long time.. and later update

In general yes, better focus in MwM for now, and that in some way is a goood habit more when you make alternate history, than can allow you to experiment with littler scenario and make the ramification for the bigger one.. more with your military emphasis than the political or social-cultural one.

I will support any project
