On April 2nd 1920 the powder keg that was France at the time exploded. Members of the Peasant's and Worker's army took control of Paris in a violent coup de ta. One day later General Robert Nivelle Free forces, and regular Army forces put down the so called spring uprising with brutal efficiency. Who ever was captured was executed, and anyone who survived went into exile abroad. It is commonly said that Nivelle failed in every task except when France needed him the most. After this the French Commander in North Africa who had seized control during the uprising was killed in a battle outside of Tunis (Now renamed New Carthage) when a joint Calvary-Tank charge broke through the lines of his army.
"Workers of France come rise up. We in Paris may die but the old regime must also die with us." Suddenly a Soldier kicks down the door "You are all under arrest for high treason against the Government of France." "No Jacques there arn't under arrest." "What are you talking about Francis, of course there are under arrest." "No they are not under arrest because we will kill them now."
"Hurri we hav ban ordeaded to charge." Says Pierre in his heavy country accent. "Are they mad we will be eaten alive by the machine guns." "Exactly gentlemen that's why we are using tanks." At 17 miles per hour the French Tanks charged across the Plains of Carthage (Tunis) After the defensive layers containing machine gunners were overcame, A wave of French Infantry flooded the trenches. And it is here that we rejoin are dear friend Francis. "Arrrrrgahhhhh." "The man to the right of me is gutted by a bayonet, as the traitor struggles to free his gun from my the bodie of my brother in arms, I deliver a bullet into his skull, as i remember it passed through and hit the shovel behind him. A man with a grenade and a trench knife charges toward me. My gun sees he doesn't make it far. We had reached the fourth and last defensive line, when one of our tanks pulls up beside me and unleashed a hellish barrage of Machine Gun fire killing a man holding a pistol, and trying to rally the soldiers. When it hits him he drops his pistol, and slowly slinks to the ground. Nearly Instantly a group of soldiers throws their hands up into surrender, we execute them as traitors with immediateness, Lord knows we need less of those." "On other fronts I hear they also seldom take prisoners."
