Leonardo's bridge

What if Leonard Da Vinci's planned bridge, that was to cross the gulf of Constantinople, had actually been built? Modern recostructions show that the bridge (the Galata bridge as it is called) would have been compleatly sound. If it had been built it would have been the longest bridge at the time. How would this effect history?

it wouldnt be too long for the modern world, and luckly, during the ottoman wars and its fall, it probaly wouldve being destroyed and rebuilt as a more modern bridge

But would the ottoman wars happen in the first place? The bridge would at least have coused some butterflyes. e.g. bridge would give trade and travel a small boost.
