Lenin dies in the 1905 Revolution.

Lenin was a leadership figure during the revolution in Russia that started in 1905, being forced into exile after the revolution failed. Over the course of the revolution, there were at least two thousand executions by the government. If Lenin were to have been captured before resuming his exile, he could end up as part of that figure easily. With Lenin dead, can there be a Bolshevik revolution in 1917? If the Provisional Government lacks Lenin to deal with, can it handle the other threats to it's existance? How does World War 1 end for Russia without Lenin pulling the nation out? How do Russia's prospects look up to the 1940s? Do we have a chance of Russia ending up with a standard of living in the modern day similar to that of modern Germany?
