It's a very interesting timeline, but I tend to consider that a king of France and England would always leave England in second position, just as the Plantagenets did until they lost France (John Lackland), from which point on it's proper to speak of English kings, and not Angevin kings. Before that, England, as we all know, was rich, but hardly visited or regarded.

But, first, you have to suppose that William of Aquitaine would go on having children, because if Eleanor becomes heiress of Aquitaine, and there's nothing to think she would not, then she marries the king of France and England. Would she bear him only girls? Maybe, and that makes the scenario even more interesting. Would the king of France repudiate Eleanor and marry another gal? Who would Eleanor marry?

Here's my two cents:

The king of France is not very powerful, but if Louis VIII is weak, then he'll be mocked by both the French and English nobility. I don't think it's possible that the Barons in France rebel like in England when this TL's Philippe Auguste decides to strenghten his power, especially considering that, with the King away in Paris, England would develop very differently. Would the special kind of English feudalism "become more French-like", for the Barons' pressure? Or would the king pressure them, forcing them into rebellion?

As for Eleanor, what if she marries the only other powerful French prince, the Count of Toulouse? This Raymond (I assume he would be Raymond V) would make his son Count of Toulouse and Duke of Aquitaine. Enough for a royal crown? Possibly not, the time of creating kingdoms was the IX-Xth Centuries. But who knows?

And what of Barcelona and Aragon? At that time, Barcelona controls Provence. I have no doubt that Raymond Berengar IV would still marry Petronila and become Prince of Aragon, but this Aragon spent much time picking fights with Occitan lords, playing overlord with the Tencavels, the counts of Béarn, Foix... But now that Raymond of Toulouse is also Raymond of Aquitaine, Raymond Berengar's dreams of northern dominion are quite broken. With Aquitaine's resources, the count of Toulouse is likely to smash the rebellious vassals in the Languedoc and stand against Aragon.

Very interesting ramifications. I'll follow this closely.

Eleanor marries the french king, Philip and has sons, then Philip dies but her second husband will be Ramon Berenguer IV who married Petronilla of Aquitaine who dies in Childbirth in my TL.

Do you mean "Petronilla of Aragon", or is there a Petronilla of Aquitaine?

Interesting... but then, Aquitaine becomes rightful inheritance of the child King of France. Eleanor would have to pass her rights to Aquitaine to his French royal children before passing them to Ramon Berenguer.

But if that means that Ramon Berenguer becomes Count of Barcelona and Duke of Aquitaine... which means he or his son (called either Guilhèm or Ramon Berenguer) would soon move to Aquitaine, since it was by far richer and more important than Barcelona.

And, probably, Aragon and Navarra would be in personal union for much longer. I can see a strong Navarra in this timeline, keeping Vizcaya, la Rioja and Ávila, and even not letting Castille take over half of the Regnum Caesaraugustanum.

Actually, in this timeline Ramon Berenguer IV does not have a son only daughters thus the inheritance of the county of Barcelona is up for grabs to the count of Toulouse Raymond and the Capetians but the line of Berenguers of Provence survives for quite some time..

Petronilla is Eleanor's younger sister actually..

King Philipe I of France survives till his sixties, previously,Prince Louis had refused previous offers to him for a bride until he saw the opportunity to seek alliance with the kingdom of England and the duchy of Normandy, Louis VI the Fat married Matilda of Normandy in order to secure alliance in 1114 bears a child named Philipe, Matilda dreamed that a tree grew from her body in her dream like her ancestor , the mother of William of Normandy the dream made her wonder and said to her husband that her son Philipe will be great and she will be proud of him, after a few years a son named Louis is born as well, later a son named William and a daughter named Anne was born, William Adelin dies in the White ship and the news entered the palace, Matilda was saddened by the news of course but Matilda said life must go on as she once said.
Philip I dies and Prince Louis becomes King Louis VI, King of France in 1116 after Philip I dies of a sickness, Matilda had a difficulty at first dealing with Bertrade, her step mother in law.
In the meantime the connection between Toulouse and Barcelona stiffens and becomes more stronger as the two counties become allies.
William Aigret and Aenor of Chatelherault dies as in OTL.
under Yusuf's son and successor, Ali ibn Yusuf, Sintra and Santarém were added, and Iberia was again invaded in 1119 and 1121, but the tide had turned, the French having assisted the Aragonese to recover Zaragoza.

Henry II of England dies in 1130 thus Stephen of Blois becomes the king because he wants to claim England and Normandy as his own domain and his power hungriness but King Louis VI acted on behalf of his wife and defeated Stephen of Blois, Normandy and England was added in the royal domain of France because of his wife Matilda of Normandy because of this Louis VI of France is known as Louis the Conqueror.
Louis goes to the county of Barcelona and becomes a baron there while Anne is married to a baron in Champagne.
Philippe is married to Eleanor of Aquitaine in 1137 and for that reason Philippe becomes the heir of France, heir of England and the Duke of Aquitaine.
William X dies in a pilgrimage to the Santiago de Compostela.
Raymond(Ramon) Berenguer is married to Petronilla of Aquitaine who bears a daughter with him named Marie(Maria) in 1138.

1138, Ali ibn Yusuf was defeated by Alfonso VII of León, and in the Battle of Ourique (1139), by Afonso I of Portugal, who thereby won his crown.
Louis is married to a Constance of Castille, daughter of Alfonso VII of Leon and Castille, the emperor of Spains in 1140 and has a son Henry with her, Philippe has a son with Eleanor of Aquitaine named Henri-Philippe then another son named Louis but Eleanor of Aquitaine was unhappy of her marriage and felt awkward with her husband.
Ali bin Yusuf survives and although Lisbon was recovered by the Portuguese in 1147 Castille and Portugal cannot expand south of Tagus river.
Louis VI goes ill and dies leaving the throne to King Philippe II in 1150.

The next children of Philippe II and Eleanor are Marie and Alix, twin girls then Philippe joins the crusade, which gives Eleanor power in the government of France, Eleanor is very manipulative, although troubadour music entered the court of france and england because of Eleanor.
After Philippe died by poisoning in 1160 and Petronilla died of child birth of her second and last daughter, Alice(Alissa) in 1159, Eleanor married Ramon Berenguer IV the two first daughters of Raymond Berenguer, Marie(Maria) is married to the Raymond V, count of Toulouse while Alice was married to Alfonso VIII of Castille.

Eleanor and Raymond Berenguer acted as regents for the young king, Henri Philippe, Eleanor and Raymond Berenguer tried to have a son but only one daughter was born named Elise who was later married to Henry, the cousin of her half brother, the son of Louis, the brother of the deceased King Philip who is a baron in Barcelona this situation caused a conflict between Raymond V of Toulouse and Henry.
in 1170, King Henri Philippe decided to give the county of Barcelona to Louis, who becomes the founder of the Capetian house of Barcelona, while Conflent and Rousillon become parts of the County of Toulouse.
King Henri Philippe learned the news that his mother killed his father in order to marry a new man and for that reason both Raymond Berenguer and Eleanor were banished in 1172.

Since I isolated France and Spain from the history of HRE, I am going to marry Adelaide of Savoy to Henry V, the Holy Roman Empire and this butterflies Barbarossa.

Why is part of Ireland colored blue?
It wasn't added in OTL until the time of Henry II (Matilda supposedly advised her son to decline the Irish crown when it was offered).

I'm curious, too, why the Magna Carta is written in your TL (from your website) when Philippe is under no pressure to do so - surely it would be better for him to simply keep ruling with absolute power? Magna Carta was written OTL because John was forced to give the English barons a measure of control after they revolted at his rule. It wasn't something he wanted to agree to, nor was it something he had a choice in.

I am planning to delete the magna carta part in the next update.
