(1) President Huey Pierce Long suffered a heart attack in the late afternoon of July 10th, 1941. The President would die in the early hours of the morning.
(2) President John Kennedy was assassinated in a motorcade in Las Angeles on November 3rd by Osvaldo Ortiz with a sniper in conspiracy with Raymond Lee Harvey (a drifter who fired blank rounds to create a diversion). Both men were tried and executed for treason. Both men claimed to be patsies of the Mexican mafia, though no evidence was found to support this.

off: Shouldn't Doles presidency end in 1993? I corrected it, I hope you don't mind.

off²: Well, everyone loves Jerry ;)

OOC: Yeah Dole should be '93. Good catch. Although I'd have done Jack Kemp at least for a term or so.

Ya notice we've devolved this into Americentrism.:D

Centrism? How about this nightmare...

I don't think its bad. Perhaps a bit of a Demo-wank, but nothing horrendously wankish (well...Hillary getting there without Bill may be a bit wankish, but the rest is pretty well set. For comparison, a Republi-wank would entail New Gingrich, Pat Buchanan and/or Pat Robertson at some point. Now that's a wank with even one of those guys.:D). And the 'everybody gets too terms' thing may have gone too overboard near the end (a good model every few years is two terms of a President, then one term following for either a person of a different party or the same party; if the same party, it turns over to two terms of the opposition, if the opposition, it turns over to two terms of the same), but still, pretty well rounded compared to a lot of 'em.

Finalized list (cleaned up a bit).

Yeah it is a little bit Demo-wankish but the parties must be completely different by now. Something must of happened along the way to keep Reagan in the Democratic party in this timeline, but yeah its not to bad. Perhaps we can flesh out what happened in this timeline now? As for the Soviet Leaders, I really can't help much.

Well, Reagan was a Liberal New Deal Democrat until "the party left [him]" (it left him right after it remained exactly the same and he read the Conservative book "Witness":D), so I think the point is this Reagan remained a lefty and ran with JFK as the VP. And the Republicans shared a similar sort of dominance so its not really too wankish.
