LBJ guilt of JFK murder.

I think there would be deep shock. I also think it is near to ASB. I remember thinking that LBJ as the obvious beneficiary must have something to do with the murder- how ever I was an exeptionally cynical 7 year old.

Well consider this not only we would know a conspiracy theory but probably how they proced so people would look for similiarity in other events

If you listened to the tapes of conversations between LBJ and J Edgar Hoover, it is pretty clear that LBJ had no involvement. He was wondering if he himself was among the targets that day.

LBJ did deliberately prevent a proper investigation into the assassination, however. If you listen to his conversation with Earl Warren, you can see that his priority was in preventing WW3. He believed that if the public believed there was a conspiracy, they might assume Castro was behind it and there might be pressure and escalation that could lead to nuclear war.
Warren's mission was to prove the lone gunman theory to the public's satisfaction.

Im sure that LBJ is innocent, and i think that he was a great President (one of greatest without the damned Vietnam ).The my question is hypotetic.

LBJ was just strange. As if "The Treatment" wasn't scary enough, he also held court while on the porcelain throne, and would re-use the same styrofoam cup to be frugal even though he had lots of money.

As for his being uncovered as the man behind Kennedy's murder, I think it would just deepen the conspiracy theory tales, not end them.
