LBJ dies 1967

WI Lyndon Johnson's heart had killed him some time between 1 minute after Jan Jan 20th 1967 and say 31st of May.

How would Humphrey have handled Vietnam and the cities?

I assume that it is more likely that he would have won the 1968 election than in otl.

(Did Hoover have anything on him, could the most destructive public servant's career have ended)

Humphrey wins '68 fairly comfortably, though years later there's likely to be some sort of conspiracy that the DNC kills off Presidents they don't believe will be re-elected.

I think Humphrey starts working on peace in Vietnam. mMaybe he starts Vietnamization. hHe avoids an anti war candidate. hHe is reelected in 1972. hHe resigns for health reasons in 1976.

who is is vp, and was the 25th amendment ratified by early 1967

Hubert Horatio Humphrey, a former Senator from Minnesota, was Vice President from January 20th, 1965 until January 20th, 1969. He was defeated for the presidency by Richard Nixon in the 1968 presidential election, and returned to the Senate until his death of prostate cancer in 1978.

The 25th Amendment was ratified in February 1967, so it would've been in action by now.

With LBJ death date on 31st of May
Would be the Apollo program save ?
in June 67, LBJ order a total production stop on Saturn IB and V model, two almost complete Saturn V (SA-516 & SA-517) was cut up with torches!

with LBJ death, the Political schedule would gone haywire, at last this give two additional Saturn V for Apollo or Skylab program.
But on long therm will HHH keep the Apollo program and Apollo Application Program or sacrifice them for put more money in social work?
