A simple POD, but one that might have further reaching consequences than we might think.
When Winston Churchill was on a visit to Moscow to see Stalin, he drew a rather bizarre picture of an alligator with a leg shaped like Italy, meant to symbolize the "teeth" of the German defenses along the French coast, and the soft and vulnerable underbelly of Italy.
Stalin IOTL thought this was rather crude and silly, but maintained his composure. But what if he had not been able to help himself, and unleashed a momentary belly laugh right in Churchill's face at the ridiculous drawing. Churchill would likely be offended.
What implications would this have for their future relationship?
