Latest (re)discovery of the Americas?

What's the latest that the American continent would be discovered by the Europeans, assuming that it must in fact eventually be found? Furthermore, how would such a scenario come to be?

I don't think that the death of both Columbus and Cabot would be enough, in and of itself. Perhaps averting the Portuguese conquest of Cueta would set back the finding of the Americas a half decade or so, or perhaps even the untimely demise of Henry the Navigator?

Make the Reconquista far, far longer and far, far bloodier and expensive. If both sides must spend most resources on killing the other guys, you could slow down any travels down south into Africa. Venice and Italy doesn't represent a problem, since the Moors will still control the straits of Gibraltar, making sure the Venetians and Italians cannot get out.

Ottoman Wank, if the Ottomans reach OTL power.

Control of Indian Trade + Spain can`t help the eastern world.
