Latest possible succession crisis

Many of the wars of the 18th century were fought over succession rights, but by the 19th century these tended not to happen. The closest thing to a succession crisis was the Franco-Prussian war, but what would be the latest date at which a full-blown "war of Austrian Succession" style event take place?

I think that a War of Napoleonic succession would be fun.

Imagine: Napoleon dies in 1811-1812 and you have the Imperial Army split between those who support Joseph and those who support the infant Napoleon II.

Alternatively: Spain in the early 19th century. If Carlos IV dies and Fernando VII escapes, you could have a war of Spanish Succession between the French Imperial army, supporting Jose I, and the Spanish ragtag army supported by the British, behind the candidacy of Fernando VII.

Now that I remember, the Carlist Wars also count as wars of succession, meaning the last war of succession was in the 1870s. So perhaps I'm looking at this the wrong way.

Yes, but the Carlist Wars were essentially Spanish civil wars. The Vienna system was enginereed in a way that would make any succession crisis of European dimension very difficult, unless it involved a Great Power. And even in that case, the Powers would have likeky sought for a compromise.
So, if you have a different Congress at Vienna, you could have Carlist wars involve more powers, perhaps.
Another possibility could be a British attempt to mantain the union with Hanover, but this also is not very likely.
