Latest idea, tell me what you think

IRON FRONT
HISTORY:
IN 1933, PRESIDENT ROOSEVELT WAS SUCCESSFULLY ASSASSINATED, THE NEW DEAL PLAN SOON FAILED AND ISOLATIONIST TOOK CONTROL OF CONGRESS. IN 1939, A FEW MONTHS AFTER GERMANY SIGNED A NON-AGRESSION PACK WITH SOVIET RUSSIA, WW2 BEGAN, INITIALLY FRANCE AND THE REST OF EUROPE FELL, US SENT MASSIVE TROOP ARMAMENTS AND OTHER WEAPONS IN BOTH SCOTLAND AND NORTH AFRICA, JAPAN WAS NOW PUSHED BACK IN 1943, AND THE WAR WAS TURNING ON THE ALLIED SIDE UNTIL THE SOVIETS DETONATE A DEADLY NEW VIRAL WEAPON AGAINST JAPAN AND IN 1944 GERMANY. BY 1945 THE WAR WAS OVER AND THE USSR WAS NOW MORE EAGER TO TAKE UP EUROPE. IN 1946 ANOTHER WAR BREAKS OUT AND THE REMAINS OF BOTH JAPANESE AND GERMAN FORCES WORK TOGETHER WITH THE ALLIES NOW AGAINST RUSSIA.

I think your typing went a bit woo-woo in this bit, not sure what it means ?

Seems a workable idea, especially for a story as opposed to a timeline per se

I doubt Garner would be great shakes as a New Deal president, and whether Congress goes 'isolationist' or not you're looking at a radically different USA for which you can posit your own wishes upon by and large

Whoever is president by 1939 could be argued to be whoever you want (circumstances after FDR's death can be manipulated as you wish). Thus, you could easily have someone who would stand aside

After that, it depends what you're scrambled sentence means !

Ah, I see.... So the US gives up isolationism when things heat up in Europe ? I'm not sure you'll have actually changed THAT much by having FDR dead and a different US political scene, except to give you latitude and leaway to play with. After all, it was really only after the Fall of France that Roosevelt got the US involved in aiding Britain anyway.

By mentioning Scotland, are you implying a German invasion of England, or simply that the trans-Atlantic shipping is coming in great numbers into the Clyde ?

Best Regards

Nazy monster is out of scene, and now it's turn for another - this time a Bolshevick monster - to be kicked on his butt! Excellent!:D:rolleyes:
That's a 1000-some scenario of Allied-Soviet clash over European Succession. Heh!
And, of course, "our brave Allied troops will kick the shit out of those god damn Russian sons of the bitches" in the end. Curtain. Applause.:D
But seriously, this scenario leads nowhere. Maybe, it's just a POD for Orwell's 1984, and thus, this is a dystopical world I woud not ike to live in.
We need to think positively!;)

1) Why do the US come out of isolationism TTL?
2) The Soviets have viral weapon - what keeps the Western powers from attaining nukes?
3) What's the motivation for the Soviet go at Europe? -and Japan?
4) How was Japan defeated in TTL? It could be important in relation to Japanese rearmament!

Please tie up the loose ends.

It almost worked. Right after FDR won election and before he was sworn in as President, there was an attempt on his life by an Italian brickmason named Giuesspe Zingara. He missed FDR and hit Chicago Mayor Anton Cermak. Cermak died and Zingara got Old Sparky.

Okay
1. The US could not stand Japanese oppression in China like in our timeline, so whoever is the new president also cuts off oil from Japan and they still attack pearl harbour.
2. Since this is actually a mod for an rts i want to make (sorry, until i have some confermation i can't tell you which game it is), the allies have a nuke, the red menace has a viral launcher, and the axis have v2 launchers.
3. Stalin gets too ambitious, this is actually supposed to be a mysterious part of my timeline.
4. when hiroshima and nagaski are nuked, sorry, must of forgot to mention that.

Hitler still declares war on America, and the US is not ready to allow britain to fully fall yet so they go against germany aswell as japan.
