Last Orders (The War That Came Early Book 6)

Why is it $14 for kindle? I wouldn't charge that much even if I created a masterpiece of human literature.

Has anyone read this enough to know why a desperate Hitler is declaring war on America?

From the description it just doesn't sound that good.

It sounds really bad. I like Harry Turtledove and this series started with promise but it quickly became ehh so soon. I just don't care what happens anymore.

Why would a "desparate" Hitler declare war on the US? Is Turtledove just going through the motions to finish this series?

I would guess marketing. Americans will be more interested in it, generally speaking, if America is directly involved.

Probably because the US is still supplying Britain and France, even though Hitler told them not to. And the US war with Japan isn't going so hot for the US. It's actually pretty low risk on paper for Hitler.

What do you think a good Kindle price would be?

Less than a large paperback, that's for sure. The whole point in e-books (well, one of the points) is to reduce cost. You don't need to tool a press for them or pay for material and labor to assemble the books. I would charge 5.00 for my best novels. I'm not sure what's worse, the asking price or that a bunch of people will pay it.

No, it's the latter because they'll give him their money and then turn around complain about the book.
