Geographically speaking(because theoretitcally you could have it as big as Europe if not more), I would think expanding into Bosnia(OTL happened), Serbia(also), Austria and Moravia is a possibility.Exactly what it says on the tin. Been playing EU4 and I like looking up on what country I'm playing.
I would say one thing is the state and one thing is the crown, while Naples can be under the Hungarian king I seriously don´t see it being a long time union or there being any integration.Historically, Hungary managed to invade and temporarely hold on to Austria (Modern Upper and Lower Austria, not the whole of Modern Austria, mind you), Moravia, Bosnia and Galicia in Southern Poland. They also had ambitions in Wallachia. Also, I believe the Angevin Kings of Hungary held Naples for a few years. So, have fun fighting the Ottomans. They didn't have much success with that in OTL.
Basically, I'd say aim for what Austria gained iOTL.
Fair enough; even the Habsburgs weren't succesful with that. Still, just giving OP some ideas for their EU4 game.I would say one thing is the state and one thing is the crown, while Naples can be under the Hungarian king I seriously don´t see it being a long time union or there being any integration.
Subjugating the Danubian principalities, Bosnia, and Serbia were active goals of the Hungarians during the 1400s. I imagine this would extend into pushing out the Ottomans from Europe and conquering Constantinople, if at all manageable. I'm not sure if a Hungarian king would have aspired to claim the crown of the Eastern Roman Empire as a right by conquest, but who could say? From there, I'd imagine immediate interests would be dependent on the geopolitics at the time. I could see scenarios where Hungary decides to mess about in Austria and Germany, Poland, the Steppe, Italy and the Adriatic, or Anatolia and the Black Sea. Assuming of course, that the Hungarians continue to stomp mudholes in all of their neighbors.
