L Neil Smith - now in color!

read the whole thing, boy what a load of steaming crap. I did like the Franco-Mexican Emperor's palace, throne room and concubines though

Whoa. I was going to comment on the mispelling, but then I saw the "Knife Music" and my paradigm shifted.

You're all idiots for not liking this.

Guess you need such a permit in TTL Texas.

But... a "Third-and-a-half Reich"? They'd better write for Looney Toons (no offense to LT, I like them - more than this stuff).

When will it END???

The Japanese doc was so stereotyped into went into a whole new realm of so-bad-it's-funny. "Ruv-handers" :D

The Third-And-A-Half Reich really gets me. This is just plain dumb, unlike the rest (which is just intellectually challenged).

(this one a bit dirty, kinda of lot)

Frame 1: Ever saw someone die in cliffhanger? it's gennerally happen one time out 100. You know considering where he was shot, i'm not sure it's the best analogy to describe the possible chirugy he had. (For cry out lound, he was shot on the side!) and also here something funny if you look the name of the guy written on the pad infront his bed. Wasn't the guy undercover? I mean think about it, I'm wounded in a hospital while on a illegal top secret mission, with greeting card spy everywhere I would check in with a fake name (unless maybe the guy a celebrity and get his pic frequently in the papers, but then why the black ops work). But considering it must not happen a lot, we shall forgive that lack of proffessionalism.

Frame 2: I guess the author and I both love nurses, but although in my fantasy they are asian (but have the same cup size). I don't know what's so suprising, I doubt he was in a coma.

Frame 3: Here my perverted speaking, that guy don't need that much monitor like I said, yet he have a nurse to check on him. Look he is all topless and the nurse in panick when he wake up and the light turn off. and she was looking a "austin bribe" magazine which could mean she's have romantic fantasy (aka needing some). It,s all very suspicious

Frame 4: You know for a while I thought that guy might be George Takei (Remember Cameo everywhere) Kinda funny although he is fluent english he still make the dumb mistake over and over. Althought he keep saying Beautiful which kinda remind me of crocodile hunter.

Frame 5: Old japanese guy touching some topless muscled under the sheet...and who kept saying "beautiful chirugery" no comment!

Frame 6: Any of the pose the nurse take is make to accentuate her clevage (goddamit! they brought him to a porno hospital!) You know it's just weird that Australia and New Zeland became nazi because England turn Gay Nazi (and that mean Canada must be Gay Nazi too !  ) Still...if Australia and New Zeland had turn Gay Nazi...wouldn't they come from Indonesia (and wouldn't they rather go in California considering Texas have no acesss to the pacific)

Frame 7: Hum, that's a real clever move, I mean I'll send a bulk of mu fleet just next to some pretty nasty nuclear explosion. I just don,t get why they would go there in the first place. or why they protect their trade with nuke, a bit over the top. Wonder why the IRA would rather blow up Berlin than London, I mean by doing it they actually made London the center of the Reich! (I would call that being unproductive)

Frame 8: I'm not sure I get the sentence, I mean gosh the most of the time they were together he was asleep saying stuff "waah", "ooch", "eech", "ouch" "nggh" and "oooooh" (Damn undertone!)

Frame 9: Ok I can understand the hole thing, but plural...(more undertone "no wonder I felt crappy" just after seeing some nurse and love reference)

Frame 10:More topless scene, more of a man screaming (if you cut him from the rest of the scene it's kinda erotic), good thing that sterotype doctor is here for comical relief

Frame 11: You know that stereotypical comical relief jar jar bink like doctor might save his life (he might have die from lack of blood, considering that they didn't live in the corner and were kinda far from the hospital) I think he is kinda ungrateful.

Frame 12: but it's the three amigo (sorry but for some reason I had this in mind ever since I saw it, I still can't believe Malcom X is suppose to be there)!

Frame 13: Why the heck I you would put mushroom on your bullet... I smell a plot device

Frame 14: "Where are my pant" even more sad indication something fishy going on at that hospital!

Frame 15: You know I don't get why a thug would get a permy not to carry a weapon. Or why a state would force people to carry gun. I mean how many nation forced people to buy thing (shove them down their throat several time probably) but never that way and never gun. I mean even from a anti-gun control it don't make much sense, since that person mostly presume that gun-control will utlimatly take their gun away. You know that might subject that unlike most ATL those texans aren't gun-ho, I mean they are pretty different from my idea of texas in 1940's, they gouverment force them to have gun. (Maybe forcing people to have gun simply a way to have no police force)

people often don't wear pants shirt in a hospital. He'd be wearing a patient gown in real life. The cleavage wasn't excessive.

Well it was mostly the fact that he wasn't wearing any patient grown that I found weird.

I know it was it just they seem higher

It's Friday and you know what that means?

UPDATE!!! :D

The pilot of the helicopter was....oh jeez

And the guy who blew up the helicopter with the bazooka was......oy vey...now they're not even pretending to take themselves seriously anymore....

Feminism apparently has gone out of style...

Superman is a Texan?

Texas-Mexican Opera looks really cool....

Should a guy who's just been shot be smoking?

Damn--that was fun.....

Ian Fleming? Wagner and Joplin?? Or is there another famous Joplin around but Janis?

And interviewing the Illuminati leader? Of course.

Frame 1: Hum if I get it you can get the identification of a british M16 agent at a local newspaper, even after blowing him to bit with a bazooka and leaving no apparent body. (and personally I don't find the idea of Ian Fleming being a MI6 that bad :p ) apparently the gay nazi still use the MI6 rather than having germanize the name.

Frame 2: I'll have to list my thing here
1. A guy just happen to carry a bazooka with him (I rather have a gun, unless they have huge autogyro pirate problem)
2. Ok what the heck James Mason was doing here (ok considering the guy was in North by Northwest and that the Sam Hill is like Mount Rushmore it make a bittish of sense)
3. If he Californian why does he have a bazooka, I mean he doesn't have to carry gun (unless texas want foreign citizen in visit to carry one...but I wonder why they would want them to)
4. What the heck does need to mention he have a volkvagen? the guy a car buff or something?

Frame 3:Apparently those guy know the president number. "nothing destroy a gun faster than blood" if that true gun were very badly thought in the first, but apparently blood can destroy a gun faster than hot lava let's say. Hum it's seem essential that they give him as fast as possible, I guess since it's illegal for him not to carry gun they better give his back as quickly as possible.

Frame 4: If you look the Jeep is written El paso aerospace park, I really ask myself why the heck you would take a car there. Also this is funny they drove from Austin to El paso. So how come it's written El paso under it.

Frame 5: ok I have no idea who the heck Nellie Bligh is, so I went to check on the internet, no result whatsover. but then one site proposed me Nellie Bly...basicly unless this is a very lame Alting, the guy made a spelling mistake.

Frame 6: You know it's funny that girl basicly was able to make much more than let's say hitler daughter, yet she still somekind of an underdog. Apparently discovering the head of a worldwide consiracy, finding the lost ark is nothing like making a sculture out of dynamite (although it was magic one).

Frame 7: You know that indianna jones like man-hating girl kinda would make a good "love interest" (think about it). I'm not sure thing like the mouvement who brought equal right to man was a fad. But consider that the Texicans have elected a woman president who seem to have no particular political oriented background (at least Ronald Reagan had been gouvernor of California) I wonder such radical feminist is still there. Unless here we are talking about Jerry fawell version of feminism there something weird I just can't pin-point exactly (Maybe it's high button shoe being able to beat major poltical trend).

Frame 8: You know why does she conceal her gun? she suppose to have one! (unless she have another) I doubt the woman aren't allow to have gun because we had numerous example (like armed nuns and the waitress) of woman carrying gun in Texas. (and I simply don't get what she say)

Frame 9: Actually I'm not that suprise that their is only it's 1947, I doubt they were that much channel back then anyway.

Frame 10: Apparently Wagner prefered Cowboy story to the german myth and legend. Franklly I didn't know the Texans were such opera buff. Ok I'm no good at German but I've check on a translation website to see what "ich sehe die menge des Mexicans" and it gave me "I see mix the Mexicans" (Pure wagner)

Frame 11: Also isn't it weird that it's early 1947 and that television are cheap and widespread enough to be in hospital room. (ok that one was unsked for)

Frame 12: Hum I have reason to think he will need that gun soon enough, while being stuck in his hospital bed.

Frame 11: Also isn't it weird that it's early 1947 and that television are cheap and widespread enough to be in hospital room. (ok that one was unsked for)
This confused me earlier too given the title, but it's not 1947, it's 1964--see the opening here.

nopey, the whole story is flash back just go a few pages after. (Remember the Roswell crash was in 1947)

Ah, you're right. Somehow I had thought they left the flashback and returned to the 'present' at some point, but looking back I guess not.

heh don't worry it's easy to get confuse in that comic

Did you know that according to their own board they will be a novelisation of this
