Update from an old idea of mine. (Some Highlights)
* 17th Century French attempts to colonize the Texas coast succeed and the area is merged with Louisiana.
* After the French and Indian War the British, as they had done in the OTL in Acadia, expel the French population of Canada, who migrate to Louisiana,.
* Instead of trying to settle Ohio/Kentucky Americans are allowed to colonize the newly taken Canada.
* 1777 Benidict Arnold captures Quebec and American attempts to conquer Canada succeed. (Dying at 81 an American hero to be placed on the 2 Dollar Bill).
* 1780 Kings Mountain and Cowpen's never occur and the British maintain control of South Carolina and Georgia.
* After the War the American delegation cedes the South in exchange for Canada.
*1786 Federal States of America form as a mercantile, semi-industrial society oriented around production and shipping.
*1800 British States of America is formed from American South, Cuba, Bahamas and Jamacia.
*1801 Louisiana revolts from Spain and succeeds (with the help of France) becoming an independent Kingdom.
*1820 Mexico forms.
*1820 Federal States of Central America form, survive.
* 1830s Louisiana/Mexican War, Louisiana Victory and large territorial concessions.
*1840's Mormons migrate to Missouri, revolt and form theocratic state.
