Kingdom of Greater Thailand timelines

Hey, I'm not quite a history expert, but this is what I done for my alternate timeline fiction story. You may called me a Thai nationalist because most of my timelines favor Thailand to become a stronger state.
Also, I apologise for my grammar because I haven't quite edit this piece and I'm not quite strong when it comes to grammar thing.

BTW. this is my first piece, so be gentle with me:)


Kingdom of the Greater Thailand timelines
POD: December 8, 1941 (during Japanese’s invasion of Thailand).

This timelines will include:
Thai-Japanese War during the Pacific Campaign during World War II
The return of territories that Thailand lost to Britain and France from the colonization periods.
A stronger military state of Thailand.
Vietnamese War with the victory of US forces.
A Sino-Thai War
The invasion and occupation of Thai forces in Myanmar in 2002




During the Japanese’s invasions into Thailand on December 8, 1941, the ceased fires from Prime Minister Plaek Pibulsonggram were not carried out effectively throughout the country due to Japanese’s air raids on Thai Army Communication Networks resulting in the fierce fights between Imperial Japanese forces and Thai Armies.
The battle lasted out through the day, in which Japanese forces sacked and raped several Thai villages in the process, resulted in large anti-sentiments toward Japanese soldiers.
Samut Prakarn defensive lines fell resulted in Japanese forces able to attack on the outskirts of Bangkok. There were several reports of sacked, raped and murdered from Japanese soldiers toward Thai citizens.
Shocked and angered by the Japanese’s invasions and the sacking process, Prime Minister Field Marshal Plaek Pibulsonggram canceled the armistice orders and ordered Thai soldiers and civilians to fight to defend their motherland.
British and American forces vowed to support Thai armies in weapons, supplies and intelligence.
Elements of British troops from Malay Peninsular entered southern Thailand to support Thai 42nd Infantry battalions in the battle of Pattani.
Elements of British troops in Burma entered northern Thailand, rushing to assist Thailand’s struggling against the Japanese forces as Prime Minister Winston Churchill had promised.
o There is a possibility of imminent Japanese invasion of your country. If you are attacked, defend yourselves. The preservation of the true independence and sovereignty of Thailand is a British interest, and we shall regard an attack on you as an attack upon ourselves.”
“Give us weapons and we will fight Japs out of Indochina,” said Prime Minister Plaek Pibulsonggram to Prime Minister Winston Churchill and President Franklin D. Roosevelt, who were impressed in the bravery of Thai people and promised to support Thailand in every ways in the struggling against Japanese forces. Large numbers of weapons, supplies and troops flow from India into Thailand. There was a secret agreement and British forces will supply two squadrons of Hurricane planes.
Bangkok was invaded and sacked by Japanese 3rd Battalion and Imperial Guard Regiments. About 15,000 civilians were killed in the process. Thousand women were raped in a single day. This event is led to be known as “the Rape of Bangkok”. Royal family was able to escape to Singapore in time with the help of Royal Thai Police Special Task Force. This would lead to the Thai guerilla insurgents against Japanese’s occupation forces in Bangkok and other parts of Thailand. Without much to know, the Rape of Bangkok will lead Thailand to be a stronger military state in the next fifty years.
With the support of British forces, Thai armies in Pattani and Songkhla was able to hold the advanced of Japanese 25th and 26th Armies into further southern area and able to encircled two Japanese armies.
The battle of Pattani and Songkhla were won by British-Thai forces and now are driving toward the north to assist Thai elements in the battle of Nakhon Si Thammarat.
