King Emmanuel of Poland

Augustus II was King of Poland from 1709 to 1733.
The Infante Manuel was the son of King Pedro II of Portugal. Manuel had been proposed as the next King of Poland for a short time in 1733.
Suppose the Infante Manuel becomes the sovereign of Poland as King Emmanuel. What happens then?

I believe Russia and Austria were keen on an Emmanuel candidacy. I think he died though. But if he lived and Russia wanted him on the throne then Russian arms would prevail.

There's still the Spanish and French campaigns against Austria in Italy and on the Rhine. And Austria kind of loses both.

Saxony is out in the cold. I wonder why Charles Albert wasn't a candidate? He was the grandson of Jan Sobieski after all. Couldn't Austria have bribed him away from the French with the promise of the Polish throne?

He was proposed as candidate in 1733. But died only in 1766.
