King Christian Frederick of Norway

Christian Frederick (1786-1848) was made King of Norway upon its independence from Denmark in 1814. Later in 1814 he renounced the Norwegian throne after the Convention of Moss.
Suppose Christian Frederick remains King of Norway. What happens then? Does he become King Christian VIII of Denmark in 1839?

he didn't renounce it ... Sweden came with an army and kicked him back to Denmark, where he were still crown prince.

Story is that When Norway learned that they were to be forced to join Sweden instead of staying under Denmark following the Napoleonic wars, they decided that they would rather go independent than join a personal union with Sweden, and elected the Danish Crown Prince Christian as king. We would need a less dickish Council of Vienna punishing everyone who joined Napoleon (even if in Denmarks case they only did so after Britain attacked and terrorbombed Copenhagen since they wanted their navy)
